Tyera Café
Tyera is located in Kafr Abdu, Alexandria’s youthful cultural district, a neighborhood shaped by layered history, creative expression, and a generation that values design, culture, and connection. Its streets are recognized for their early modern villas and a distinctive café scene where locals gather not to rush the day, but to experience it together.
The design approach for Tyera reflects this same value system. The space was conceived to make an environmental impact through material longevity, passive daylight integration, and an interior palette that supports rather than competes with the natural landscape outside. The furniture selection, especially the bentwood chairs, reflects the café culture of this district, familiar in form, honest in material, and built for durability and comfort. Tyera was crafted to feel like an extension of its street, a continuation of its culture, and a contributor to the district’s ecological footprint.
